Our General English Standard course focuses on developing skills in the four core areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Using a practical approach based on the CEFR levels for language ability, our General English classes enable you to develop the confidence and skills you need to use English effectively in different situations. What will I learn?

Course content

On this course you will:

  • Receive classes adapted for each student’s needs by the teacher
  • Receive individual tutorials every 6 weeks with the class teacher who will help you to achieve your learning goals
  • Improve your communication skills through class discussions and project work with other students
  • Develop your grammar and vocabulary
  • Read and discuss texts on a wide range of subjects, including magazines, news articles or stories
  • Practise speaking and listening skills through discussions, role-play or presentations
