Pre-Sessional Courses for GCSE, A-Level and IB Exams

Prepare for GCSE, A-Level or IB exams by developing subject-specific knowledge, language and test skills.

This course is for students who need to improve their English language skills and develop subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science. During morning lessons, you will join one of our General English classes where your teacher will help you practise using English to communicate. In the afternoons, you will work on your subject-specific knowledge in small classes, with lessons designed to meet your individual goals and requirements.

On this course you will:

Practise all aspects of your chosen exam and work on revision strategies and techniques for the test
Improve your reading and writing skills using a range of example materials and topics
Take regular practice tests to monitor your progress
Learn vocabulary and grammar to use English more accurately in coursework and exams
