This course is aimed at supporting students aged 15-17 to become competent communicators who can engage with global issues and express their own views with confidence, in English. Through critical thinking exercises and group discussion, students will develop their sense of awareness as a “global citizen”.

What will I learn?
Course content
On this course you will:
- Read and discuss texts in English on relevant age-appropriate topics
- Work with students from around the world and practise your communication skills through group discussion and project work
- Participate in a range of cultural, educational and leisure activities in the afternoons to put your language skills into practice
- Join Intercultural Awareness afternoon classes where you will work with other young learners to explore global issues and expand your world view
