English Plus Work Experience

Put your English into Practice

This course is designed for young learners who want to develop work-related English language skills, make new connections, and also gain valuable real-world work experience in an English company or organisation.

Our English plus Work Experience programme will give you the opportunity to improve your language and communication skills whilst gaining useful experience of working with English. Study General English plus Workplace English for one week before spending two weeks on a selected work experience placement with one of our partners. During English lessons, you will improve your language skills and learn more about living and working with English. During your work placement, you will practise and develop your English skills at a carefully selected British company or organisation.

1^st week
General English (mornings, 15 hours)
You will:
● Receive classes adapted for each student’s needs by the teacher
● Improve your communication skills through class discussions and project work with other
students
● Develop your grammar and vocabulary

English for the Workplace (afternoons, 6 hours)
You will practise speaking and listening skills through role-play or workplace situations.
You will be confident in English-speaking working environments and when communicating with other English speakers. Now you are ready to move on to the workplace!

2nd-3rd week
Work Experience
From museums and hospitality to IT and software development, gain valuable real-world experience for your future with English.
