Academic Preparation

Academic Preparation is a course designed for students who are looking to go on to university. This course introduces academic skills and language. It provides the opportunity for students to question, evaluate, comprehend and produce a variety of academic texts. It provides practise of all four skills with particular emphasis on their use in the academic world. It is suitable for those students who wish to study at university in an English speaking country. Academic Preparation can be studied as a 15 hours a week course or as an additional afternoon lesson on top of the Standard General English course.
